Deleting databases permanently

Removing a file on the Databases page moves it to the Removed Files list on the Backups page, where you can restore it later, if necessary. Deleting a file on the Removed Files list permanently deletes it and its preserved backups.

To permanently delete a removed file:

  1. On the Backups page, click the Removed Files tab.

  2. Select the removed files that you want to delete.

    To select all removed files, click the checkbox in the table heading.

  3. Click Delete Backups.

    Warning  After you confirm in the next step, the selected files and all their preserved backups are permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

  4. Click Permanently Delete.
