Installing FileMaker Pro (macOS)

Note  If a previous version of FileMaker Pro is already installed and you want to keep it, first rename the existing FileMaker Pro.app in the Applications folder. For example, add its version number: FileMaker Pro 22.0.3.app. Otherwise, dragging the new version to the Applications folder replaces the previous one.

  1. After downloading the file for FileMaker Pro, double-click the disk image icon (.dmg file).

  2. Drag the FileMaker Pro application to the Applications folder shortcut.

  3. Start FileMaker Pro and follow the onscreen instructions.

  4. In the FileMaker Pro License dialog, click Enter License. Click Browse and choose the license certificate file you downloaded.
