Restoring remote backups

  1. Click the Remote Backups tab.

  2. Choose one:

    • Listed By Timestamp

    • Preserved

    • Hosted Files

    • Removed Files

  3. In the list, select a backup to restore, then click Restore Backup.

  4. For backups in:

    • Listed By Timestamp or Preserved: Choose the specific databases to restore, then click Restore.

    • Hosted Files or Removed Files: Choose the specific timestamp of the selected file's backup to restore, then click Restore.

  5. If prompted, enter the database encryption password.

After each database is restored, a message is saved in the Remote Backups > Backup Message Center section. The restored backup is added to the list of databases in the Databases tab. Restored files are saved as new files with the filename <filename>_Restored_<backup_timestamp>.

Notes

  • If you remove a database, the next backup will not include the database. To restore the backups for a removed database, you must use the last available backup for the database in the Removed Files section.
